17 years after the original Chandramukhi, A sequel has been announced to hit the screens, starring Rajinikanth, with Raghava Lawrence in the lead role.
The producer of the film Lyca Productions announced the news on their official Twitter handle.
The director of the first film, P Vasu will return in the sequel, which also stars actor-comedian Vadivelu in a pivotal role. At the moment it is unknown whether the actor will reprise his role from the original.
Other details about the film’s plot and cast are yet to be announced. It is also not clear if Chandramukhi 2 Will take its story from the recent smash-hit maze 2 Starring Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani.
