‘Chef training, dry ice’: How Aftab Poonwala murdered his live-in partner

The Delhi Police explained the events in the court.

There have been many big revelations in the Shraddha Murder Case till now. Now in this case, the police told the court that Aftab Poonawalla, the main judge of the case, was a trained chef. So it was very easy to learn how to preserve meat. Aftab Poonawalla is accused of strangulating his girlfriend Shraddha Walker and dismembering her body into 35 pieces.

According to the police, they have been trained in this matter at the Taj Hotel and have also learned how to preserve meat. The Delhi Police also told the court that Poonawalla procured dry ice, incense sticks and chemicals to clean the floor after killing his girlfriend. Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad, representing the Delhi Police, said that the Delhi Police narrated the events in the court.

The court was also told that Aftab Poonwala had a relationship with another woman within a week of killing Shraddha Walker and gave a ring to his new girlfriend. Which he had earlier given to Walker. Aftab alleges that he killed his live-in participants and cut his body into 35 pieces. Then threw them in the forest. Delhi Police arrested him on 12 November 2022.
