As the name suggests, this biryani is cooked in dum-style. It is cooked in many delicious spices like cardamom, clove and cinnamon and mixed with saffron milk. This delicious biryani tastes best when served with spicy salan. It makes a perfect lunch or dinner meal and you are bound to make this dish again and again. Chicken Dum Biryani Recipe: How to make Chicken Dum Biryani

To make the recipe, first mix saffron in milk and keep aside. Now we need to prepare the marinade. In a bowl add curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt. Coat the chicken pieces well with this and let it marinate for about 4 hours.

To prepare rice, add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, mace and black pepper to hot water along with washed rice. Cook for 10-15 minutes. After this heat ghee in a pan.
