China-based autonomous driving startup WeRide said on Thursday it plans to make robotaxis available for booking by the public on Guangzhou Automobile Group’s onetime ride-hailing app by next year.

Backed by Nissan Motor, WeRide said in a statement that it plans to offer test rides to the public at the Guangzhou Auto Show starting in the southern Chinese city on Friday. It said that its Robotaxi has been integrated into the onetime platform and they were testing it.
