The Twelve Days of Christmas, also known as Twelvetide, mark the festive phase of the birth of Jesus Christ or ‘the birth of Jesus’ and the arrival of the three wise men, the Magi. For those who think that these 12 days lead to Christmas, it is just the opposite.
