Citroen today launched the 2022 C5 Aircross facelift in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 36,67,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The C5 Aircross SUV was the first offering that Citroen launched in India in April last year. Apart from this, the facelifted version of the SUV is now available in a single full-loaded variant.

design
Compared to the outgoing model, 2022 Citroen C5 Aircross The facelift gets a series of styling updates on the outside. The split headlamp setup makes way for a single chunky unit with two LED DRL strips that are attached to the embellishments on the grille. The front bumper has been redesigned, while the SUV also gets a new and bigger Citroen logo.
The Citroen C5 Aircross facelift also gets new stylish looking dual-tone alloy wheels along with updated taillights. While the overall shape of the SUV remains unchanged, the changes make it more modern and mature than before.
Interior and Features

On the inside, the 2022 C5 Aircross facelift is equipped with a free-standing 10-inch infotainment system and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. AC vents are given below the display which gives it a neat look. Other features on offer include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, auto climate control, electronically adjusted seats, wireless charger, and so on. Citroen claims that the front seats have better cushioning than before, thanks to the additional 15mm of padding. Also, the gear lever has now been replaced with a toggle switch.

No change has been made in the powertrain department. The Citroen C5 Aircross is powered by its own 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 177 hp and a peak torque of 400 Nm. Transmission duties continue to be taken care of by an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox as standard.
