CNG costlier in Delhi by 2.5 per kg

Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas or CNG by Rs. 2.5 per kg, in Delhi and NCR. Right now, the price of CNG in Delhi is Rs. 64.11 per kg and the new rates came into effect from today, April 4, 2022.

CNG or compressed natural gas has also become costlier by Rs 2.5 per kg in Delhi amid rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country. Natural gas distribution company Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), which primarily operates in the Delhi and NCR region, has said that the new prices have come into effect from 6 am today, April 4, 2022. Effectively, at present, the cost of 1 kg of CNG in the capital of the country is ₹ 64.11. Prices have also gone up in adjoining areas like Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, and are currently at Rs 66.68 per kg.

As for CNG prices in other regions, consumers in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shimla will now have to pay Rs 71.36 for a kg of CNG, while in Gurugram it is being sold at Rs 72.45 per kg. The CNG price in Rewari is Rs 74.58 per kg, while the CNG price in Karnal and Kaithal is Rs 72.78 per kg. At the same time, in Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur, customers will have to spend ₹ 75.90 for one kg of CNG, while in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand CNG is being sold at ₹ 74.39 per kg.
