CNG prices hiked again in Delhi, other cities see rates

IGL hikes CNG rates by Rs 2.50 per kg.

Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) on Wednesday announced fresh hike in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) prices in Delhi and neighboring cities of Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and others. The new rates have come into effect from 6 am today.

Natural gas supplier hiked CNG rates by Rs 2.50 per kg.

After the latest price revision, the price of CNG in Delhi has now gone up to Rs 66.61 from Rs 64.11 per kg, as per the IGL website.

This is the third rate revision in April and the eighth hike since last month. Overall, the rates have gone up by around Rs 9 per kg.

The hike in rates follows a jump in global gas prices.

The revised price of CNG in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad is Rs 69.18 per kg, while the CNG price in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli is Rs 73.86 per kg.

The revised CNG rate is Rs 74.94 per kg in Gurugram and Rs 77.07 per kg in Rewari.

The revised CNG price in Karnal and Kaithal is Rs 75.27 per kg, while the CNG price in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand is Rs 76.89 per kg.

CNG is being sold at 78.40 per kg in Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur.
