A businessman based in Kolkata’s Ballygunge area was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday following a claim and compensation of Rs one crore from his residence in connection with a coal scam probe. A senior officer gave this information. He said that a three-member ED team searched various premises in Kolkata in this case. An ED official said, “So far Rs 1 crore in cash has been counted and the counting of notes is going on. The value of the drop may increase.
