Cold wave expected in Delhi-N class from tomorrow, thermo in minus in many cities of Rajasthan

According to an IMD official, large parts of north and northwest India recorded below normal maximum and minimum temperatures for most days this month before a western disturbance resulted in respite from the cold. This drop in maximum and minimum temperatures in the last 10 to 11 days was caused by a dense fog layer over the Indo-Gangetic plains and a large gap between two western disturbances, which brought snow from the rocks and cold winds from the mountains. Last longer than normal.

Meteorological officials said that the Sindhura-Gangetic plains have a high probability due to the large number of streams and rivers in the region. Once the Western Disturbance follows behind, cold northwesterly winds will move towards the region.
