Employees of the German Embassy performed ‘Natu Natu’ in Old Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated German Ambassador to India Dr Philipp Ackermann’s effort to organize a flash mob to dance to the Oscar-winning track.grandson grandson‘From SS Rajamouli’s film’RRR, PM Modi said that the video proved that “Germans definitely can dance”. In the massively viral video, Dr Ackermann is seen dancing to this wildly popular song along with his team in Old Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area. He is seen doing the hook step as a huge crowd gathers to watch and cheer him.

He quote-tweeted the German ambassador’s post in which he said, “Germans can’t dance? Me and my Indo-German team celebrate the win of #NaatuNaatu at #Oscar95 in Old Delhi. Well, not quite.” . But fun!”
He tagged the South Korean Embassy, actor Ram Charan and the official handle of the RRR film.
In a video uploaded by the ambassador on Twitter, Dr Ackermann can be seen getting off an autorickshaw at Chandni Chowk and asking a shopkeeper, “this is of india world famous? (Is this India’s world famous?)” Then the shopkeeper gives the ambassador a plate of jalebi with a stick bearing the South Korean flag and ‘grandson grandson‘ is printed on it.
Later in the video, Dr Philip Ackermann and his team members gather on a road near the Red Fort and stage a ‘flash mob’.grandson grandson‘ plays in the background. They are seen performing the viral dance steps to the song, while a huge crowd gathers to watch and cheer them.
The German ambassador also added the hashtag #embassychallenege, urging others to perform to the song. The trend was started by the South Korean embassy when a video of Ambassador Chang Jae-bok, along with the staff, dancing to the hit song went viral.
Industrialist Anand Mahindra, known for his interesting social media posts,… also praised Germany Embassy’s Efforts “The German Ambassador and Embassy staff and their presentation of #NaatuNaatu at Chandni Chowk. Following the lead of the Korean Embassy. I love how this is turning into a diplomatic Olympics of one-insult! Well, what country Who’s embassy is ahead?” He said in his tweet on Sunday.
