With this, the price of commercial cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 1,769 from today. However, there has been no increase in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.

On the first day of 2023, oil marketing companies (OMCs) hiked the price of commercial Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders by Rs 25 per kg. The hike has come into effect from Sunday and is applicable on 19 kg commercial cylinders.

With this, the price of commercial cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 1,769 from today. However, there has been no increase in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.

A 19 kg commercial cylinder will now be sold for Rs 1,721 in Mumbai, Rs 1,870 in Kolkata and Rs 1,971 in Chennai.

This comes after a reduction in the price of LPG commercial cylinder by Rs 115.50 in November 2022. This was the seventh cut in the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder unit since June, in line with a fall in international energy prices.

Prior to November, the price fluctuation occurred in May, when it was increased. Since June, the price of commercial LPG cylinders has come down by Rs 610 per 19 kg cylinder. The prices of commercial LPG cylinders were also reduced on October 1.
