LPG price hike: Oil marketing companies on Sunday (January 1) increased the price of commercial Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders by Rs 25 with immediate effect, on the first day of the new year 2023.
With this, the cost of commercial LPG cylinder will be Rs 1,769. However, there will be no change in domestic LPG prices.
The new rates have become effective from today.

With the hike in commercial LPG cylinder prices, it will cost Rs 1,768 per cylinder in New Delhi. In Mumbai, a commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,721 per cylinder, while in Kolkata and Chennai it will cost Rs 1,870 and Rs 1,917 per cylinder, respectively.
Earlier in the month of October, the price of commercial LPG cylinder was cut by Rs 25.5 in Delhi.
