BJP President JP Nadda on Wednesday accused the Congress of giving free gifts to garner votes instead of empowering the people of India in the last 70 years. The BJP national president said that these schemes represent a changing India. “What did Congress do in 70 years? They only donated for free and got votes in elections. They didn’t help people to stand on their own, become empowered. Prime Minister Narendra Modi came and provided toilets to 10 crore families. did.” he said.
“The poor and needy do not need money, they need empowerment. Ayushman Yojana benefits 55 crore people including barbers and rickshaw pullers. Villages have been electrified, 8 crore families have been provided with gas cylinders This is the image of a changing India,” Nadda said.
