Congress, JD(S) two sides of same coin who believe in corruption and commission: Nadda

BJP national president JP Nadda on Thursday sought to hit back at the Congress and the JD(S) involved in large-scale corruption, calling them two sides of the same coin.

Mr Nadda, who visited the state for the first time when the BJP faced the embarrassment of its MLA Madal Virupakshappa. Lokayukta’s trap on corruptionHit back at the opposition which started a campaign against the BJP government on corruption.

“JD(S) and Congress are two faces of the same coin. Both the parties believe in corruption and commission, casteism and communalism, divisive politics and divide and rule tactics,” Mr Nadda alleged while addressing a public meeting at KR Puram in Bengaluru after taking out a roadshow.

Making his point, he asked the people whether the JD(S) and the Congress were not involved in corruption and whether the Congress leaders were out on bail.

Significantly, after the case of Madal Virupakshappa, who is on interim bail, the opposition parties have launched an attack against the BJP.

Describing both Congress and JD(S) as brothers, he said that voting for one of them would strengthen the other. He also accused them of withdrawing cases against PFI workers in large numbers and communalising the atmosphere.

Unlike these parties, the BJP had brought Karnataka into the mainstream in terms of development by prioritizing its infrastructure, Mr Nadda said in an apparent attempt to build political momentum ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state on March 12. Development.

Listing the various development works inaugurated by the Prime Minister in Karnataka in the last few months, Shri Nadda said that if you want such development works to continue, you must ensure that the lotus blooms again in the State.

Accusing the Congress of being mentally bankrupt, he said that its leaders have started opposing the country in the name of opposing Modi.

Interestingly, although Taiwanese firm Foxconn has issued a clarification that no binding and definitive agreement has been signed with Karnataka, Mr. Nadda said that Apple production through Foxconn would soon begin in Bengaluru.
