Pinky Irani, the woman who was paid crores of rupees by conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar to be ‘friendship’ with actor Jacqueline Fernandez, is being confronted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) inside Tihar Jail , sources have exclusively told India Today.
India Today has learned that after taking permission from the court, ED officials took Pinky to Tihar Jail where she is confronted with Sukesh.

The ED came to know about Pinky’s role when it recorded the statement of Jacqueline’s make-up artist Shaan Muttathil. In his statement, Shaan told the authorities that in January 2021, he was approached by a woman named Angel, who introduced him as Shekhar to Sukesh through a video call, requesting Shekhar to introduce him to Jacqueline. . However, Jacqueline was not interested in talking to some unknown person.
Later, The conman makes a spoof call to Sanu Pretending to work for Home Minister Amit Shah’s office and asking him to contact Sukesh as he was a person working with Sarkar.
The ED has said in the chargesheet, “The call was made from the office of Home Minister Amit Shah, which as per the investigation was a fake call and was made by accused Sukesh.”
After the call, Shaan shared Sukesh’s mobile number with Jacqueline, after which he got in touch.
After that, Sukesh calls Jacqueline through WhatsApp from his mobile and introduced himself as “Shekhar Ratna Vela” in the month of February, 2021.
According to the chargesheet, Sukesh had initially told the actor that he belonged to the political family of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and was the owner of Sun TV.

ED has alleged that Sukesh was in regular touch with Jacqueline From February 2021 till his arrest on 7 August 2021.
During this period, Sukesh gave him various gifts And her family members arranged charter flights for her to fly within India, arranged for her hotel stay and paid cash to a screenwriter on Jacqueline’s behalf. All these expenses and payments were made from the proceeds of crime earned by Sukesh through criminal activities.
“It was also at Angel’s insistence that talks took place and various gifts were given by Angel, identified as Pinky, a Mumbai resident who was buying and distributing gifts to Jacqueline on behalf of Sukesh. Pinky said in her statement that she introduced Sukesh to Jacqueline’s makeup artist Shaan through video call and numbers were exchanged between Shaan and Sukesh and later Jacqueline contacted Sukesh,” read the ED document.
“She said that as per Sukesh’s instructions, she used to go to showrooms of luxury bags, clothes, shoes and select the items through Sukesh, who used to settle the bills and after receiving confirmation of payment from Sukesh Chandrashekhar , he used to pick up those goods and deliver it to Jacqueline either himself or through his manager Prakash,” it added.
Pinky also told the officials that Sukesh had given expensive gifts, including two Gucci shoes, one LV bag and an LV sling bag to Shaan Muttathil.
