A couple in the United States got a cute surprise when they woke up on the bed to find a strange dog sleeping with them.

Jimmy and Julie Johnson of Tennessee reported on Facebook that their unexpected guest had wandered through a back door that was accidentally left open. The dog joined the couple for the night. “I rolled over to my edge of the bed, and said, ‘No, no, no, that’s not our dog,'” Ms Johnson said of how she found the dog when she woke up.

According to independentAfter finding the dog in her bed, Ms Johnson said, she posted a message of a missing dog on social media. Then someone recognized the dog as a tap. “We got a Facebook message that said, ‘Hey, this is my dog. I’ll be there in a few minutes, what’s your address?'” he added.

Ms Johnson said the owner sent pictures of the dog as evidence. The dog had traveled two miles before the couple learned that they decided to settle down with them for the night.

“In fact, I was still in bed and snuggling with Nala when her mom walked into the bedroom,” Jimmy Johnson told the outlet. The couple also said that if it weren’t for the Facebook post, they would have had another pooch as part of their family.

Nala’s owner, on the other hand, took to Facebook to share the details of his dog’s adventure.

“Our overly friendly pup, Nala, has set an all-time record for ignoring personal space and added another trick to a long list of Houdini acts. Yesterday she slipped her collar while walking, ran into the street at a neighbor’s house , somehow broke into their house, and climbed into bed with them in the middle of the night. wrote Chris Hawkins.
