The reopening of the temple comes before the Shivaratri festival dedicated to Lord Shiva, which falls on the fourth day of the waning moon in the month of Phalguna, according to the lunar calendar also known as Phalgun Krishna Chaturdashi, dedicated to Lord Shiva. .
