Sore throat, sneezing, itchy eyes and throat are also common symptoms.

When it comes to contraindications, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing is common in COVID, but not seen in the case of allergies unless the person has asthma. In addition, chills and fever are more common with the novel coronavirus.
