An awareness rally organized by the District Health Department on the occasion of World Population Day was organized by Collector S. Visakan flagged off.
More than 150 government and private nursing students participated in the rally, raising awareness-raising slogans about population control and family planning. The rally was taken out from the Revenue Divisional Office premises and concluded at RDO via Head Post Office, Kamaraj Bus Stand, Ghantaghar.
Joint Director of Health Services S. Ambuselvan, Principal of Dindigul Government Medical College, Veeramani and others were present.
