Cric Tracker acquires audio, video streaming rights for Legends League Cricket

New Delhi: Legends League Cricket (LLC) has announced its partnership with Cric Tracker, which has acquired the audio and video streaming rights for the broadcast of all its matches. Its video streaming rights will be for all markets except India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Sony Pictures Networks India holds the video rights in India, while Supreme TV has the video rights in Sri Lanka and GEO Sports and B Sports have the video rights in Pakistan.

The league representing India, Asia and the rest of the world currently operates at the Al Amrat Cricket Stadium in Muscat, Oman.

It has three teams, India Maharaja, Asia Lions and World Giants. The final of the tournament will be played on Saturday, January 29.

The event is of nine days and players like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Sanath Jayasuriya, Muttiah Muralitharan, Darren Sammy and Kevin Pietersen are competing. The format of the tournament is such that the matches will be played in a double round-robin, and each team will play the other two twice until there are two teams left in the final.

“We are extremely pleased to announce this partnership. The platform has grown rapidly in recent years and has a strong following of cricket fans,” said the league’s CEO, Raman Raheja.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan joined as the ambassador of the league. It also has former India coach Ravi Shastri as the commissioner of cricket.

Oman also recently hosted the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup matches.
