Mr. Senthil said he expects this technology will eventually result in filmmakers making less use of “green screens”, which are used extensively to create visual effects except in complex cases because it increases the cost of visual effects, There will be on-location production cost and savings. We introduced Avid: editing movies on computers, digital sound technology and post-production technology. We want to work on transformative technology in entertainment,” he said.

The technology has been widely adopted in the Hollywood and European film industries due to the constraints placed on film production due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown. “In Hollywood alone, mainly in Los Angeles, about 50-60 virtual production stages have gone ahead.
