CUET UG: Disturbance also occurred on the second day, examination canceled at many centers

CUET UG exam centers again faced technical glitches on the second day. This was the day when the National Testing Agency (NTA) had to cancel the exam at all 489 centers and postpone the first shift at some places in 17 states.

Students on Friday also complained of waiting for two hours before the authorities informed them that the exam scheduled for the day has been cancelled.

“I had come from Chhatarpur to the exam center in Noida Sector 64 (about 34 km). We were seated at the terminals. At 12 noon, we were told that the exam will not be conducted today as there are technical problems. Tomorrow from my sister Narela Came all the way to this center (about 84 km) but had to return due to the same issue.” Ganika told news agency PTI.

Another CUET candidate Hemanshe Udar also shared a similar complaint.

“I left my house in Dwarka Sector 51 (44 km) at 5.30 am to reach the center on time. But we were told after about three hours that there would be no paper today and we would have to return on August 12. That’s it now. It’s very difficult to get to and from here.”

Her mother said it was difficult for the parents as well, as many took leave from jobs and went to the examination centers with their children.

NTA said that the first shift of the exam was conducted smoothly at 95% centers across the country. But, as soon as the second shift started on Thursday, there was a technical problem in many examination centers. These examinations will be conducted on August 12.

NTA has also postponed CUET-UG Kerala Due to heavy rain it is scheduled for 4th, 5th and 6th August.

Some students on Friday said that they were asked to tear the admit card, however NTA It was said on Thursday that the same admit card would be valid for those who could not take the exam.

Roshni, who is traveling from North Campus, said, “I have to come to the same center tomorrow for my Section 2 exam. We have been assured that the exam will take place. But looking at the scenario tomorrow and today, it seems unlikely. “

A candidate who requested anonymity also told PTI that some students sat on a dharna outside an examination center to register their protest.
