Number of cases registered related to custodial deaths According to a written reply in the Lok Sabha on July 26, 2022 by Shri Nityanand Rai, who is a minister, the number of registered cases increased from 1,940 in 2020-21 to 2,544 in 2021-22, an increase of 31.13%. ‘One District One Hospital’ scheme

In response to a question on the “One District, One Hospital” scheme, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya told Lok Sabha As on July 29, 2022 IPHS (Indian Public Health Standards) 2022 Guidelines- “Each district should have at least one district hospital which should be widely functional for providing secondary care services”. Dr. Mandaviya also presented data from Rural Health Statistics (RHS) 2020-21 regarding the number of districts within each State/UT and the total number of district hospitals in the respective State/UT.

Country wise and year wise details of coal imports Presented in Lok Sabha by Shri Prahlad Joshi, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines from 2017-22 to 27 July, 2022. The chart below shows the increase/decrease in import of coal from a particular country in these five years. , The amount of coal imported from South Africa, Indonesia, New Zealand and Canada decreased in 2021-22 compared to 2017-18, while coal imports from the United States, Australia, China, Mozambique, Russia and ‘other’ countries increased . in 2021-22 as compared to 2017-18.

The chart tracks the coal import contribution of different countries from 2017 to 2022. The total quantity of coal as compared to the import distribution in 2017-18 and 2021-22 is almost the same. However, imports (in %) from Indonesia and Australia have become more or less the same in 2021-22. The percentage of imports from China as a share of total imports increased, as did imports from countries listed under ‘Others’. The share of the United States has changed little, between 4 and 6%, in five years.

In a written reply in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences said that as per the inputs of the Ministry of Mines, the Geological Survey of India (GSI) has collected the data of 3782 major landslides occurred from 2015 to 2022 In various States/UTs, which have affected life and/or infrastructure. The map given below shows the State/UT-wise distribution of landslides as per the data presented by Dr. Singh.
