‘Dada’ Rajinikanth shows ‘Annathe’ to his family and grandson

The upcoming Diwali release has already got a thumbs up from the superstar’s grandson, Vedo

Rajinikanth fans are probably hoping Annaatthe, but the film has already received approval from a young audience member: the superstar’s grandson, Ved.

In an audio message on Hootee set by Soundarya Rajinikanth, the actor posted, “Since the release of the teaser, Ved, who is six years old, has been repeatedly asking me to screen the film for him. I kept telling him that he was not quite ready yet, but he kept on harassing me. For his sake, I kept motivating director Shiva to complete the work faster. I recently came back from Delhi and the makers arranged a special screening of the film at the Sun Network office.

He laughs and says, “My other grandchildren, Yatra and Linga (children of actor Dhanush) were away in Kodaikanal. Fear raglai Among my grandchildren, I hid the news of the special screening from them.”

The Rajinikanth family attended the special premiere on Wednesday evening and Ved is thrilled. “He was sitting right next to me during the entire screening. This is my first film he is watching, and it was very special. After the film he hugged me tightly and said, ‘Thatthu, I am very happy.’
