Daily wage earner’s daughter S Nandini scores well in TN Class 12 exam

Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) declared the class 12th or HSC results yesterday i.e. on 8th May. Around 8,03,385 students appeared in the TN 12th exam out of which more than 7.5 lakh students passed the exam. overall pass percentage This year it was 94.03 percent.

Though the list of toppers was not announced by the board, S Nandini, daughter of a daily wage laborer, has scored 600 marks. Nandini is a student of a government-aided school in Dindigul district of the state.

Speaking to ANI, Nandini said that her father has always encouraged her to pursue her education. She studied at Annamalaiyar Mills Girls Higher Secondary School and her result has brought happiness to her family and school.

He told ANI, “Class XII result has been declared. I have scored 600/600 marks. It makes me very happy. My grandmother and teachers supported me.”

He said, “My father is a daily wage laborer, but he never tried to stop me from studying. He told me that my education is my wealth and encouraged me.”

His father Saravankumar is a carpenter while his mother is a homemaker. Nandini also has a younger brother who is in class VI. Saravankumar said that his daughter was focused on studies since childhood. “She saw how we were working and always wanted her to reduce the burden,” he told TOI.

Talking about her future plans, Nandini said that she plans to pursue B.Com and then CA.

coming back to ResultGirls once again outperformed boys in the board exams with a higher pass percentage of 96.38 per cent. The pass percentage of boys was 91.45 per cent. As per the Career360 report, Virudhanagar topped the district wise with 97.85 per cent, followed by Tiruppur with 97.79 per cent and Perumbalur with 97.59 per cent. According to the stream wise pass percentage, 96.32 percent students have passed 12th in Science stream, Commerce stream (91.63 percent), Arts stream (81.89 percent), Vocational (82.11 percent).

During this, Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board Also announced the Karnataka SSLC Result 2023 yesterday, in which four students scored 625 marks in the Karnataka SSLC exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 83.89 per cent.
