The Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) on Monday declared the results of class 10th and class 12th for the first time. A total of 1,574 students passed the Class 10 exam with a pass percentage of 99.49, while 662 students cleared the Class 12 exam with a success rate of 99.25%. DBSE was introduced in 2021 with an aim to discourage rote learning and change the evaluation method from a three-hour exam once a year to year-long evaluation determined through grade point average. The schools are affiliated to the Delhi Government Board of Special Education. Announcing the results, Education Minister Atishi said that DBSE has set a new milestone through its unique evaluation process.
