Deadline for uploading e-invoice for turnover above Rs 100 crore postponed by 3 months

E-invoice: As per registry law, companies cannot avail Deposit Tax Credit (ITC) if never uploaded on IRP.

GST e-invoice: Goods and Services Tax Network (Goods and Services Tax Network) i.e. Membership (GSTN) has time to upload its old e-invoice (e-invoice) for the authority or authority with a turnover of more than Rs 100 crore. Seema’s contract is deferred for three months.

Last month will be put on the Registry Portal (Challan Registration Portal) i.e. IRP (IRP). Earlier this system was going to be implemented from one, but now it has been postponed for three months.

The current arrangement arrangement companies give such alerts on the current date. There was no bar for active uploading on IRP. As per registered law, if the deposit on IRP is not made, the income tax payer cannot avail tax credit (ITC).

Rajat Mohan, senior partner at A Brazile & Associates, said that even large businesses were surprised by this new requirement to issue e-invoices within seven days from the date of account.

Let us tell you that with respect to Goods and White Tax, e-invoicing has been made mandatory for business-to-business transition transition by companies with turnover above Rs 500 crore from October 1, 2020.
