Deepika Padukone recalls her ‘difficult’ COVID journey: ‘I was unrecognizable, my brain was not working’

Now, Deepika Padukone has opened up about her battle with COVID-19. The actress shared that she had to take a break from work for two months as the illness had made her ‘physically unrecognizable’.

In a recent interview with Film Companion, Deepika revealed how Covid-19 affected her mind and body after being put on medication and steroids. “Life after covid changed for me because physically, I was completely unrecognizable… I think the medicine I was given, the steroids that I was put on. So Covid in itself It was weird, your body feels different, your mind feels different,” she said.

He said, “I thought it was fine even when I was sick but after that, I had to take two months off from work because my brain wasn’t working. It was a very, very difficult period for me.”

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Deepika Padukone, who is currently building on the success of her recent release ’83’, is all set to entertain her fans with several interesting projects. It is being said that Deepika will work with the superstar Shahrukh Khan Titled ‘Pathan’ for the upcoming YRF action. The shooting of the film is currently being done in different sequences abroad.
