The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office said Thursday that John Pandolfo used his position of authority to take advantage of a 9-year-old patient during an examination a decade ago.
The victim has recently come forward.
Pandolfo is the owner of Drexel Spine and Rehab in Drexel Hill.
“Pandolfo used his authority to take advantage of a nine-year-old patient when he was left alone with her under the guise of an exam,” said Mr. Attorney General Josh Shapiro in a statement. My office has a zero tolerance policy for child abuse, and any offender will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, whoever they are.
Pandolfo has been charged with serious indecent assault on a child, indecent assault on a child, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of a child, officials said.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office is encouraging anyone else who feels they were victimized to come forward.
