Delhi: 2 suspicious bags found in Trilokpuri area
Trilokpuri suspected bomb news: Two suspicious bags have been found in Delhi’s Trilokpuri area. Bomb disposal squads are on the spot and checking whether the bag does not contain explosives.
Security teams have cordoned off the area and further investigation is on. Delhi is already on high alert in view of Republic Day.
The incident comes just a week after the recovery of a bag containing unclaimed explosives at the Ghazipur Flower Market.
The NSG later informed the Delhi Police that the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) recovered from a busy flower market was fitted with a timer device and had ammonium nitrate and RDX as its components.
Officials said the explosives used in the IED are suspected to be part of a consignment dropped by drones from Pakistan in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the use of RDX in recent seizures and IEDs found in the market points to the role of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.
