The holiday rush has paralyzed the Delhi airport, with angry passengers complaining on social media of flight departures and sloppy lines before boarding. Pictures posted on Twitter show overcrowding at the Delhi International Airport Ltd, with passengers complaining about long waits for security checks and mismanagement by airport staff.

To address airport chaosEven as the government has intervened, India’s civil aviation ministry said in a statement on Saturday that it is working with airlines to reduce flight departures to 14 during peak hours. However, it did not disclose data for general traffic.
