A massive fire broke out at a shoe market in central Delhi’s Karol Bagh area in the early hours of Sunday, the Delhi Fire Service said.
The fire broke out in Ghaffar Bazar of Karol Bagh. 39 fire tenders reached the spot. The fire has been brought under control. On information, Delhi Police personnel also reached the spot.
It said 39 fire tenders were dispatched to the spot and the fire was brought under control.
Director of Delhi Fire Services Atul Garg said, “A serious fire was reported at 4:16 am from a shoe market in Ghaffar in Karol Bagh and 39 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.”
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
