Delhi International Airport Update: From 17 August 2022, all private and commercial vehicles will pass through the Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) area to pick up a passenger arriving at Terminal 3 of the Delhi International Airport. The decision to shift cars from Lane 3 of Terminal 3 to the Forecourt to Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) area is to enhance the passenger experience for passengers arriving in the forecourt area of ​​T3, Delhi International Airport said in a statement. has been taken.

Currently, private and some commercial vehicles wait in lane 3 of the Terminal 3 forecourt to pick up oncoming passengers. The Delhi airport has put up adequate signs in the terminal building and on the connecting roads regarding the new traffic movement initiative.

Free first 15 minutes of parking

Under the new traffic movement scheme, the Delhi airport has made the first 15 minutes of parking of all private vehicles at the MLCP free for pick up passengers and exit from the MLCP parking area. Thereafter, applicable parking charges will be applicable. However, commercial vehicles will be charged as per the applicable parking rates in Lane 3.

Passengers and their family members arriving at the airport will be guided through signage and barriers upon entry into Lane 3 for hassle-free parking. Delhi airport will deploy Raksa guards, who will help in transporting these vehicles to the MLCP. Additionally, passengers can also get updates through the social media handles of the Delhi airport.

Multi Level Car Parking (MLCP)

Multi-level car parking has been part of International Terminal T3 for some time and has a large area for pickup and helps passengers pass through the airport. MLCP has facilities like F&B counter, ATM, washroom, baby care room, waiting lounge, mobile charging station etc. MLCP is designed to provide a safe and controlled parking/pick-up experience to the passengers.
