Delhi Metro: Services will be affected on this route till 2 pm today

Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) informed that Delhi Metro operations on the Blue Line will be curtailed during the first half on October 2 due to planned maintenance work on a portion of the corridor. The Blue Line connects Dwarka Sector 21 in Delhi to Noida Electronic City, and has branches from Yamuna Bank station to Vaishali.

“To undertake scheduled track maintenance work in between” Yamuna Bank and Akshardham on Blue LineTrain services will be regulated this morning,” the Delhi Metro announced.

There will be no direct train service from Noida Electronic City station to Dwarka or Dwarka Sector-21 stations till 2 pm from the start of revenue services, officials said.

“During this period, train services from Noida Electronic City to Dwarka/Dwarka Sector-21 Regular services will be operated from Dwarka Sector-21 to Yamuna Bank stations in one loop and from Yamuna Bank to Noida Electronic City stations in the other loop.

Passengers traveling from one end of this line to the other will be required to change trains at Yamuna Bank during this period.

DMRC said that during this time train services from Dwarka Sector-21 to Vaishali will be available as per the timetable on Sunday.
