Delhi: Police reunites missing sisters with their families

Under Operation Milap, two minor sisters aged 10 and 16 were introduced to their families on Wednesday. Both the sisters were missing from their residence in Patiala, Punjab.

Information was received from the Sansad Marg police station that two unidentified girls are sitting in Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.

A team was formed to trace the identity and whereabouts of the girls. The team worked under strict surveillance and took the girls to the police station.

After settling into a friendly atmosphere, one of the girls reveals that they are sisters and has forgotten to go back home since April 12.

Police officials registered a complaint and contacted their families.

The sisters were handed over to their parents after proper identification before the Child Welfare Committee.
