Based on the information received from the ‘Green Delhi’ mobile app, 150 pollution hotspots have been identified in Delhi. The Environment Department has identified hotspots on the basis of complaints received in the last one year. Only 13 pollution hotspots were identified in the capital before the app data was analyzed. Road dust, illegal dumping and construction have been cited as sources of pollution in these areas.
