Delhi University Admission 2021 Updates: DU colleges approve 12,774 applications

Delhi University (DU) on Thursday informed that a total of 12,774 applications have been approved by the principals of various colleges under the first cut-off list. It said that over 59,000 applications were received on the last day of DU Admission 2021 under the first cut-off list. And, till now more than 17,000 students have paid the fees.

The admission process for DU’s first cut off list ended yesterday.

According to data shared by Delhi University, “The total number of applications is 59,525, while 17,913 students have paid fees. A total of 12,774 applications have been approved by the principals of various colleges.”

Manoj Khanna, principal of DU’s Ramjas College, told news agency PTI that they have cleared 400 admissions. “If the students do not submit the documents or give the undertaking, we will have to cancel the admission,” he said.

Feather Hindu CollegeMore than 900 students submitted fees and about 700 applications were approved by the principal. Around 600 applications have been accepted at Miranda House, while Hansraj College has received 304 admissions in science courses and 225 in arts and commerce courses. In Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) College, a total of 400 students have paid fees, 600 admissions have been approved while 400 have been rejected.

Delhi University (DU) The first cut-off list for various undergraduate courses released on October 1. The colleges which declared 100% cut-off this year are- Shri Ram College for Commerce (SRCC) for BA (Hons) Economics and B.Com Honours, Hindu College and Ramjas College for Political Science Honours, SGTB Khalsa College for B.Com, Hansraj College , Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies and Deen Dayal Upadhyay College for BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Jesus and Mary College for BA (Hons) Psychology and Ramjas College for A. Combination of BA program.

DU will release the second and third cutoff on October 9 and October 16 respectively. There are 90 colleges under Delhi University. There are about 70,000 seats for undergraduate students.
