Delhi University clears 7,992 applications under third cut-off list

NS Delhi University (DU) The colleges have cleared 7,992 applications on the first day of admission under the third cut-off list on Monday, October 18. So far, a total of 1,40,965 applications have been received while 47,537 payments have been received against the first three cut-off lists released by the university. Till 6.30 pm on Monday.

A total of 70,000 seats are offered by the colleges affiliated to DU. After the second cut-off, 43,412 students had applied for admission, while 10,593 were approved by the college principals. Out of which 3,213 paid their fees. Meanwhile, 36,130 students completed their admission process under the first cut-off. A total of 60,904 applications were received by the university.

Marks required to get admission in undergraduate courses as per third cut-off A slight drop of 0.25% to 1.5% was observed for most popular courses. The first cut-off required 100 percentile for many courses like BA (H) Political Science and Economics. Many top colleges have also closed the admission process for some courses.

Aryabhatta College received 145 applications, out of which it has approved 102 against the third list. As reported by news agency PTI, the college reserved maximum 31 applicants seats in Mathematics (H), followed by Computer Science (H) with 22 admissions and Hindi (H) 20 admissions. Rajdhani College approved 231 applications on the first day, taking the total admissions to 919. 199 and 489 admissions took place in the college under the first and second list.

The admission process will continue till October 21 and the last date for submission of fees is October 23. DU will release a special cut-off on October 25 and will release two more lists after that.
