Delhi University (DU) students who missed semester papers can now appear for the exam

Delhi University (DU) students, both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, who earlier could not appear for the semester paper due to COVID and other reasons, will now be able to take the exam. DU announced that it will conduct the second phase semester examination for such students. The university also announced that the registration for the exam will start from June 29.

Delhi University had conducted the previous round of examination in physical mode for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs in May and June. This was the first time in 2 years that the exam was conducted in physical form. However, some students could not appear for the exam due to various reasons including COVID-19.

Taking note of this, Dean of Examinations DS Rawat said, “The attendance during the examination was around 97 per cent. Only a few students have not appeared for the examination due to various reasons. The working group of examinations has decided to conduct the second phase of examination. Do it.”

The notification regarding the announcement reads, The university has decided to conduct the second stage examination for IV/VI/VIII semesters for all undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs including students of School of Open Learning (SOL) have taken. “Remaining students” who could not write the examinations held in May/June 2022 due to COVID-19 pandemic and other reasons.

In the case of School of Open Learning (SOL) students, a separate provision will be made for registration by SOL.
