Delhi University resumes registration for ‘Shatabdi Mauka’ exam

Drop-out students have been given a one-time chance to complete their courses in view of the year-long centenary celebrations of Delhi University starting May 1.

Delhi University on Friday reopened registration for the “Shatabdi Mauka” exam for college dropouts to complete their courses. Drop-out students have been given a one-time chance to complete their courses in view of the year-long centenary celebrations of Delhi University, which began on May 1.

The fee for the special examination will be Rs 3,000 per paper and students admitted during or before the academic session 2015-2016 are eligible.

Qualified candidates can appear for a maximum of four papers in annual mode and up to eight in semester-wise tests. It will be conducted for theory and practical examination and not for internal assessment.

“All concerned ex-students (Regular, NCWEB, SOL and External Cell) of final year of Undergraduate/Postgraduate/Professional courses who could not complete their degree within the period are informed that they may register for Shatabdi -for 10 days and the last date is 27.02.2023 (Monday) by 5:30 PM,” read a notification by the university.

It said, “Students can fill their registration form using the online student portal.”

DU had announced in May last year that final year college dropouts can register for this one chance to appear for the exam and complete their course.
