Delhi University (DU) The academic calendar for the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth semesters of relevant undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year 2022-23 has been released. As per the calendar, the academic session for fifth and seventh semesters will start from July 20 while classes for sixth and eighth semester will start from January 2, 2023.
According to the official notification issued by DU released on June 22, the mid-semester break for students in the theory exams of fifth and seventh semesters will be from October 2 to October 9. Theory exam will start from 30th November and there will be practical exam. Will start from 16th November. Winter vacation will be from December 17 to December 31.
Meanwhile, for the sixth and seventh semester students, classes will start from January 2 next year and the mid-semester holiday will be from March 5 to 12. Preparatory leave and practical exam will be conducted from May 1. According to the notification, after which the theory exam will start from May 11. Summer vacation will be from May 27 to July 19, 2023.
Delhi University had reopened classes in-person on February 17 after being closed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Offline classes for third-year students resumed last year, but the university was closed again in December due to a rise in the number of Covid cases.
