Delhi witnessed a jump of 18.8% in COVID-19 cases today; Positivity rate increased to 9.42%

National capital Delhi recorded 1,964 Covid-19 cases and eight deaths in 24 hours on Thursday.

According to the city’s health bulletin, the total number of Covid positive patients in home isolation is 4,323, while 539 are hospitalised.

In the last 24 hours, 26,394 people were vaccinated. In all, 1,82,13,710 have been fully vaccinated in Delhi.

So far 19,90,355 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Delhi. The cumulative positivity rate of the city is 5%. A total of 19,57,121 patients have been cured in the national capital so far, while 26,408 people have died due to the viral infection.

The health bulletin reported that the city’s active cases stand at 6,826.

The total number of containment zones in Delhi till Thursday is 313.
