Raj Shamani, founder of an entrepreneurship podcast called Figuring Out, got trolled for a tweet he loved to “grind”. “Peace” is also often celebrated as hustler limits on burnout, giving undue importance to “hustle” in an overworked society. This work culture has long been criticized on various fronts and given the circumstances, Shamani’s tweet was criticized as being largely silent. “Even if there were 25 hours a day, I would still want to work 26 hours. Not that I am a workaholic, I just f**king like the grind,” wrote Shamani, followed by a heart emoji.
Twitter is definitely There is room for hot take, and the outside criticism is equally blistering. Most of the Twitter users glorified Shamani’s tweet for doing more than inspiring. Taking this was even more problematic given the circumstances of people getting used to working in the post-pandemic world.
