How to make Desi Egg Shakuka | Desi Version of Shakshuka Recipe

Chef Anahita Dhondi shared a desi version of Shakshuka on Instagram, with quite an interesting twist. “An Indian version of shakshuka probably always existed but we never really named it. This desi shakshuka is scrumptious, I’m a big fan of eggs for breakfast and I think this is one of the easiest and best It’s breakfast. Here is the complete recipe of Desi Shakshuka shared by Anahita Dhondi:

Component:

  • Eggs – 4/6
  • Tomato – 4, chopped
  • Onion – 2, chopped
  • Green chili – 2
  • Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato Puree – 100 grams
  • Garam masala – a pinch (optional)
  • salt to taste
  • Ketchup – 1 tbsp
  • Oil

Method:

1. In a pan of hot oil, fry the onions till translucent, add ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Then add tomatoes and salt. let it happen Tomato Cook for about 4-5 minutes. Add red chili powder and garam masala to it.
