Micro handbags are less than 0.03 inches wide.

A small bag ‘smaller than a grain of salt’ has been sold for $63,000 (Rs 51.6 lakh) in an online auction. CNN informed of. The microscope bag is fluorescent yellow-green in color and is based on the popular Louis Vuitton design. This bag is made by New York art group MSCHF. CNN The report further states that the bag measures only 657 by 222 by 700 microns (less than 0.03 inch wide). When MSCHF posted a photo of this bag, it caused a stir online instagram handle earlier this month.

MSCHF wrote in the caption that the bag is narrow enough to pass through the eye of a needle and smaller than a grain of sea salt.

It said, “There are large handbags, normal handbags, and small handbags, but this is the last word in the miniaturization of bags.”

CNN Said The bag was created using two-photon polymerization, which is used to 3D print micro-scale plastic parts.

The bag is sold with a microscope with a digital display so that the buyer can view the product.

Photos posted by MSCHF show Louis Vuitton’s signature “LV” monogram printed on the bag. Full-size LV bags cost between $3,100 and $4,300.

MSCHF was founded in 2016 and is known for its quirky auctions. The group was sued for defamation by Nike over its ‘Satan Shoes’, a series of 666 pairs of modified sneakers bearing satanic symbols and drops of actual human blood. The dispute was eventually settled out of court.

In 2021, MSCHF broke down four Birkin bags to make the sandals, which it offered for up to $760,000 per pair.
