Development has stalled in Andhra Pradesh under YSRCP rule, says Lokesh

National General Secretary of Telugu Desam Party N Lokesh is addressing a public meeting in Nandyal on Wednesday night.

Development has come to a standstill in Andhra Pradesh as the YRCP government has made no effort to bring investments in the last four years, and from building roads to execution of major irrigation projects, nothing has progressed, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National general secretary of N. Lokesh has alleged.

Despite the temperature reaching 42°C, people from all walks of life gathered in large numbers to listen to Shri Lokesh during the Yuva Galam Padayatra on 17th May (Wednesday).

Shri Lokesh appealed to the people to support TDP in the coming elections so that the state can progress.

“All systems have been completely destroyed during the YSRCP rule. If people want development, they will have to support TDP,” Mr Lokesh said.

“I am happy to see all of you here, and I have a humble request to you that if you want the state to progress well, then support TDP. The state has already reached the lowest rung in all aspects, and we all should realize this fact,” he said.

The representatives of Bondili society met Mr. Lokesh and appealed to pay attention to their problems. They also wanted the community to be accorded Backward Class (B) status.

“As soon as TDP forms the government, all your problems will be resolved, and I am assuring you that funds will be allocated to Bondili Corporation. The issue of BC-B status will also be taken up,” Mr. Lokesh told them.

In the memorandum, the leaders of the Sunar community demanded pucca houses for them.
