The billionaire Ambani family owns countless luxury cars with the most expensive garages in the entire country. His Antilia mansion reportedly houses around 170 vehicles along with an in-house service station. They have luxury sedans, SUVs, supercars, EVs, and more. Of course, Mukesh Ambani inherited his passion for luxury cars from his father and business icon Dhirubhai Ambani. He started building this awe-inspiring Ambani family garage over several years.

However, despite owning several luxury models in his lifetime, Dhirubhai Ambani was in favor of a very special car, namely the BMW E38 750i XL L7. The vehicle is longer and was spotted a while back in a beautifully restored avatar on the streets of Mumbai. The luxury sedan was followed by the Z+ security convoy of cars for Mukesh Ambani, indicating that either Mr. Ambani himself or his family members were using it that day.

The car is doubly special, as just 899 units were built worldwide, making it a rare variant indeed. It is also probably the only BMW E38 750i XL L7 in the country. NS extra large The moniker refers to the long wheelbase, with an overall length of reportedly 5.37 metres. The feature list was impressive at the time, including electrically adjustable seats at the rear, fold-down tray at the rear, rear footrest, fridge, individual rear display unit, a fax machine and a television screen. There was an optional privacy window partition framed from glass, allowing passengers to completely separate the rear. The car was powered by a V12 5.4 liter petrol engine that produced 322 Bhp and 490 Nm.

Apart from this particular vehicle, Dhirubhai Ambani also owned several other luxury cars including the Cadillac Fleetwood, which the family still has. Recently at a rally of vintage cars in Mumbai, Anant and Akash Ambani drove a flashy red Cadillac. It dates back to the early 1940s and today only four such units exist in India. However, this car was not a part of his personal collection, although the Ambani family owns many classic and vintage models.
