None of the tweets shared the video of the actress making her statement in court or posted tapes of her on any media portal. The tweet raised suspicion as the videos of the test are publicly available.

Depp previously testified at trial that she never killed Heard and argued that she was the one who was the abuser.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star has filed a $50 million lawsuit against 36-year-old Heard, saying he defamed her when she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse. Heard has contested $100 million, arguing that Depp defamed her by calling her a liar.

The legal case hinges on the December 2018 opinion piece Heard wrote in the Washington Post. Depp’s name was never mentioned in the article, but his attorney told jurors it was clear Heard was referring to him. Their divorce was finalized in 2017 after less than two years of marriage.

Depp, once one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, said Heard’s allegations cost him “everything”. A new “Pirates” film was shelved, and Depp was replaced in the “Fantastic Beasts” film franchise, a “Harry Potter” spinoff.

Hurd’s lawyers have argued that he told the truth and that his opinion was protected by free speech under the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

A state court judge in Virginia’s Fairfax County is overseeing the trial, which is in recess until May 16. Closing arguments are scheduled for May 27.
