On Sunday, veteran singer Asha Bhosle shared a throwback picture on Instagram. The post features sister Lata Mangeshkar with Asha Bhosle since childhood. Sharing the monochrome post, Asha wrote with a heart emoji, “Bachpan ke din bhi kya din. Didi and me.” In the picture, both the sisters can be seen posing for the camera. Responding to the post, singer AR Rahman wrote: “Adorable.” Actors Hrithik Roshan and Shruti Haasan also dropped heart emojis on Asha’s post. Lata Mangeshkar died at the age of 92 at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Sunday after she was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Asha Bhosle Visited her late sister Lata Mangeshkar at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday evening. “The doctor has said that she is stable now,” news agency ANI quoted Asha Bhosle as saying. Lata Mangeshkar was taken to the Intensive Care Unit on January 8 after testing positive for COVID-19. According to the report of news agency ANI, his health deteriorated on Saturday by the doctors.

Lata Mangeshkar’s sisters Asha, Meena and Usha are also singers. His brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar is a music director.
